Dealerships To Open This Summer

Hardeeville, SCJan. 8, 2010 The New River Auto Mall broke ground on Thursday for two new franchise dealerships. Volkswagen and Audi will become part of the group of seven existing dealerships on U.S. Highway 278 west of Sun City, said Warner Peacock, President and CEO of NRAM Holdings, LLC, owner of the dealerships at the New River Auto Mall.
Construction on the dealerships is set to begin immediately, and should be complete by the end of this summer,” said Peacock. “We’re excited about opening the two new stores, and we’re ready to bring more jobs to the community.”
In addition to adding two more brands to the automotive landscape in the Lowcountry, the opening of the dealerships will provide current VW and Audi owners another option for getting their vehicles serviced closer to home. “We’ll have fully-staffed service departments, with certified technicians who can handle warranty work and any other needs for owners already in the area,” said Bobby Kisselback, Vice President and Executive General Manager of NRAM Holdings.
New River Auto Mall is located on U.S. Highway 278 approximately five miles east of Interstate I-95, Exit 8 in Jasper County, just west of Sun City and the University of South Carolina – Beaufort campus. Launched in 2002, New River Auto Mall encompasses 42 acres. It currently accommodates seven dealerships: Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge; Key Mazda, Key Nissan, Hilton Head Hyundai and the Luxury Auto Group which includes Key Infiniti, Jaguar Land Rover Hilton Head and Porsche of Hilton Head.
The ownership group of New River Auto Mall is shared by retail auto industry veterans Don Mealey and Warner Peacock, professional baseball legend Ken Griffey, Jr., and attorneys Greg Humphries and Jay Brennan. The organization is known for its quality service and broad selection of vehicles.
